Empowering Young Lives Through Positive Change

IMPACT & OUTCOMES

At Champions 4 Change Wellbeing, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to feel heard, valued and supported before challenges reach crisis point.

Our work combines early intervention, trusted relationships, emotional support, physical activity and positive opportunities to help young people build confidence, strengthen wellbeing and develop the resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges.

We measure impact not only through participation and outcomes, but through the real experiences of the young people we support.

By listening to their voices and tracking meaningful changes in wellbeing, confidence, relationships, engagement and life opportunities, we continuously improve our services and ensure that young people from diverse backgrounds can access the support, connections and opportunities they need to thrive within their communities.

OUTCOMES

Our programmes are designed to improve emotional wellbeing, confidence, resilience and social connection while helping young people build the skills and support networks they need to thrive.

  • Depending on the programme, young people may experience:
  • Improved emotional wellbeing and reduced emotional distress.
  • Greater confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
  • Better emotional regulation and coping strategies.
  • Stronger relationships with peers, family and trusted adults.
  • Increased participation in education, physical activity and community life.
  • Greater confidence to communicate their needs, make positive choices and seek help when needed.
  • Improved access to support before difficulties reach crisis point.

Our long-term goal is to help young people become more resilient, better connected and more able to access opportunities that support their wellbeing, personal development and future aspirations.

YOUNG PEOPLE

Every young person’s journey is different, and success looks different for everyone.

For some young people, progress may mean feeling happier, more confident or better able to cope with challenges. For others, it may mean developing healthier relationships, feeling less isolated, becoming more active or taking positive steps towards education, training, employment or other opportunities.

Through early intervention, trusted relationships and person-centred support, we help young people recognise their strengths, develop resilience and build the confidence to navigate life’s challenges.

PARTICIPANT VOICE

We believe young people are experts in their own lives.

That is why we ask not only whether an activity took place, but what changed for the person, what mattered most to them and what could have been done differently. Their experiences help us understand what works, improve our services and ensure that young people’s voices remain at the centre of our work.

Young people’s feedback also helps us strengthen support pathways, improve programme quality and continue creating services that are accessible, relevant and meaningful to the communities we serve.

Our Theory of Change

Our Theory of Change shows how accessible early intervention, trusted relationships, qualified practitioners, strong partnerships and community-based support contribute to improved wellbeing, resilience, relationships and life opportunities for young people. Ultimately, our vision is a future where every young person can access early emotional support, build resilience and could thrive.

Support Beyond the Sessions

Mentoring and Trusted Relationships

At C4CWB, our support goes beyond physical activity. We provide consistent mentoring and trusted relationships that give young people stability, encouragement, and someone they can rely on.

By taking time to listen, understand, and support each individual, we help young people feel valued, safe, and confident as they work towards their goals — both inside and outside our sessions.

Looking to the Future

Growing with Purpose

As we look to the future, C4CWB is committed to growing our impact responsibly and sustainably. We aim to strengthen our existing programmes while developing new opportunities that respond to the evolving needs of young people and families in our community.

By working closely with local schools, partners, and community organisations, we will continue to build trusted relationships and deliver meaningful support where it is needed most. Our focus remains on providing safe, consistent, and positive environments where young people can grow in confidence, resilience, and wellbeing.
